The 5th International School Principals Conference (ISPC2025), organized to discuss innovation in education, leadership, and future readiness with a focus on the importance of meaningful and sustainable changes in preparing schools for the future, was held in collaboration with Istanbul Medeniyet University, the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, the European School Heads Association (ESHA), TÖDER, and Bahçeşehir University.
ISPC2025 took place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, with both online and face-to-face sessions, and on Friday, December 12, 2025, with face-to-face sessions hosted by Istanbul Medeniyet University. The third day of the conference was completed with sessions held at Bahçeşehir University.
Held this year under the main theme “Getting Ready for the Future: Meaningful Changes in Schools,” ISPC2025 addressed contemporary topics such as educational administration, school leadership, artificial intelligence, digitalization, sustainability, inclusivity, and well-being from a multidimensional perspective. Drawing on experiences shared by participants from Türkiye and various other countries, comprehensive discussions were conducted on how schools can be managed more effectively and flexibly in times of uncertainty.
Throughout the conference, students from our department actively took part in different stages of the organization as members of the support team, contributing to the event while engaging in academic and professional activities. In addition, many of our students participated in various parallel sessions and workshops organized as part of the conference, gaining first-hand insights into current approaches in education, innovative practices, and international trends in school leadership.
With its structure fostering knowledge sharing and interaction among academics, school administrators, and students, ISPC2025 made a significant contribution to high-quality discussions on the future of education.
